Analysis Phase

The first stage of the development process is the analysis phase which is gathering the requirements of the project to understand what the stakeholder wants. It comprises of in-depth study of the problem, the target audience going to be addressed, what are their needs, their limitations, what technologies are available with them, demography, literacy level etc. It is also intended to identify the existing gaps in information which further helps in segmenting the information needs of that group. Usability patterns of technological interventions are also analyzed to understand the pattern of technology utilization by the community people on ground. A social mapping technique is utilized to sketch out the heterogeneous community infrastructure. Only once this is studied and documented, a baseline report is produced which helps to move further to design phase.
