ZMQ launches ‘TB Screening on the Wall’

ZMQ launches TB screening on the wall. ‘Screering on the Wall’ is a bye product of ZMQ’s initiative Talking Poster, an AI and IOT based program which render’s community sensitive tools and also publishes a voice generated Posters, which are placed in the Community for building awareness, deliver SBCC and perform survey’s and disease screening. The poster talks in local language so that communities with low literacy  an innovative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The initiative was launched on the World TB Day in Nuh , an aspirational district in India and in Kabarole district in Uganda.

 

On the first day, World TB Day, our teams in Nuh District screened  719 people (Male: 408; Female: 311). A total of 53 symptomatic cases were identified and; in Kabarole District screened 452 people (Male: 285; Female: 167) with 31 symptomatic cases. All cases are sent for Micro-bacterial sputum test to respective diagnosis centres.
